Using the game
Nightfile is a free browser game. By playing it you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please stop using the game.
Fair play
Don't attempt to tamper with case tokens, scores, or the leaderboard, and don't automate gameplay. Solves are verified on our server; entries that look forged may be removed without notice.
Names and conduct
Detective names, room names and chat must not contain hate speech, harassment, sexual content involving minors, or impersonation. We may remove any content or entry that breaks this rule.
Multiplayer rooms
Anything you say or type in a squad room is visible to other players in that room. Share only what you're comfortable sharing.
AI-generated content
Cases, characters and dialogue are generated by AI and are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to real people or events is coincidental. Generated text may occasionally be inaccurate or inconsistent.
Ads
The game is supported by ads, including optional rewarded ads for hints and level skips. Rewards are granted only after the ad view completes, and daily limits apply.
Availability and changes
We may update, pause or discontinue features, levels or the leaderboard at any time. Progress saved in your browser can be lost if you clear your browser data.
Liability
The game is provided “as is”, without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the game.
